Blico Bloco

Blico Bloco was a computer game creation project that I undertook about 5 years ago. I never got round to completing the project, since I didn't have a computer when I first came to uni, but now I feel prepared to finish the game. It's basically a puzzle game, similar to the bust a move series of games, but with a major difference, in which you can fire in four directions. Basically an array of 'blocs' come in at you from all four directions, and its your job to keep them at bay, by matching up three or more of the same colour to get rid of them. Sounds easy, but believe me it isn't, since as you destroy more and more 'blocs', the speed level increases, and so they come in faster and faster.

The aim of this game is to get the highest score possible, at the moment. I'll realease a playable demo soon, once I've spiced it up enough for it to feel proud in public. If I get enough support on this project, I might even include sets of levels, as is standard with commercial versions of these types of games, as well as a level editor so that people can create their own sets. Believe me when I say that this game gets very addictive very quickly.

Keep coming back as I shall post a release date for the demo in the next month. Also click on the screenshot below to view it full size.
